balance billing with oil
When you are purchasing a house can you sign up for balanced billing for the oil? If so how do you go about it? WHo do you use?
we didnt purchase the house yet but I dont wanna get in I fig too low of a payment and we get slammed
Right now the house we are looking at is a 3 bdrm ranch with a basement(no heat in basement)
We are budgeting and the only questionable bill is oil.
Thanks so much!

Re: balance billing with oil
First of all, yes you can do balanced billing with oil. The cost depends on the size of the house and what temperature you keep your thermostat at. The programmable thermostats are best for regulating temperatures.
I can't give you an amount for balanced billing because we are closing on 3/30 but we signed up for balanced billing with Slomins. I called a few companies last week and they had the best deal.
Good luck!
ETA: One person told me their bill is $180 per month for a 4 BR colonial. HTH!

Re: balance billing with oil
We are using Petro after calling around to get prices.
We pay monthly oil bill - $180/month for 12 months.
This includes the oil fuel delivery and the maintenance contract for the boiler.
