Balloons for a party?

Is it worth it to get the balloons on the net and fill them yourself, or get that at Party City?

How much would you save doing it yourself?

I bought helium tanks and did the balloons myself for Emma's Baptism. I don't think it cost less - actually probably more, but the convenience was worth it.

I think I mentioned this to you already Michelle...but we bought a ton of balloons on-line and we'll pick up a tank (or 2 Chat Icon) @ Costco for $19.99.

I find it to be cheaper. But, it is time consuming to do it yourself.

ETA: Party City sells a dozen latex for $6.99 I think. I paid 10 cents a balloon and the helium may be about $2/dozen.

I usually go to the dollar store (on Larkfield, East Northport) & have them blow up the balloons. I think I got 2 doz for $7or $8.

eta. doing it yourself would be too time consuming the day of the party.
