bank accounts
Has anyone set up an acct or something for their soon to be DD or DS? I"m just thinking of what I can do ahead of time financially for the baby :)

I'm not sure if you can, probably, if you put it in your SS# & their name. We waited until after DD was born & we had her SS#

We opened a 529 for college savings once we got DD's SSN.

Same here. We have a couple of accounts for DS, but all were created after he had a SS#. It was way easier.

You have to have a SS# (card) in order to set up an account.
