Bank of America mortgage
if you used BoA can you please give me your experiences? TIA
ETA: not sure if it makes a difference, the loan officer we hope to work with worked in a Countrywide office when we first met with her, they switched to BoA the week afterward

Re: Bank of America mortgage
We started with Chase and then went with BofA. It was the easiest process ever. Everything was done by fax, phone call or email so we didn't have to waste anytime. The only hassle was the underwriters but that was because everyone was doing re-fi's at the time. Even with that it seemed everything was moving along much faster that with Chase.

Re: Bank of America mortgage
We are currently in the mortgage process with B of A. We haven't had any problems so far. We too have done everything over the phone, e-mail, and fax. They also gave us an amazing mortgage rate.

Re: Bank of America mortgage
wow, thanks!
so far we haven't even officially applied for a mortgage and the loan officer we met with has been so on top of things - calling to check up on us, even getting in touch with the seller's agent to move things alone. i am so glad to hear some other good experiences.

Re: Bank of America mortgage
Our mortgage is with BOA and we love them! When we started out acouple of months ago, the loan officer told us they were swtiching from Countrywide to BOA. He was really super nice and not full of any crap. Very straight forward and got everything on paper right away.

Re: Bank of America mortgage
Countrywide was just bought out by BOA, so even though I had a Countrywide mortage, it is not with BOA. No problems as of yet, but I did close my personal account due to poor customer service from BOA.
