Banking blood cord through CBR with #2
I'm pregnant with #2. We went through CBR 2 years ago for DS and banked his cord blood. Now they are banking the tissue as well. DH called CBR last night and is banking both. It's very pricey, but he's very adament about it.
I go back and forth b/c of the price, but we did with DS so we want to with the next child. Of course the salesperson talks him into everything. I just want to make sure we're doing the right thing. I'd rather have the insurance policy and pray we never have to use it.
Any thoughts? What did you do if you did it for #1? DId you do it for your second or third child as well?

We also used CBR 2x. Our Dr. Who is a family friend said not to do the tissue. You should also get a discount on banking the second time.

How come he said not to do the tissue?
We asked our OB and he didn't have too much of an opinion. His kids are older, but said the other OB's in the office did for their kids.
