Baptism/Christening - Donation?
I am Jewish, DH is Catholic. We are having a Baptism for DS and the church we are using provides an "envelop" for donation.
How much should we give? DH is clueless.

Re: Baptism/Christening - Donation?
We gave $100.00 to the Church. Since we had a private Christening we had to ask a Priest/Deacon to perform the ceremony. We gave the Deacon $50.00 as a thank you.

Re: Baptism/Christening - Donation?
Our church told us that the usual donation is $100. We will probably give a little more because its twins.

Yes, I knew it's supposed to be what you can afford. But I was just trying to get an idea of what the usual donation amount is.
