Baptismal donation advice needed!

If your church asked you for a donation of $600 for a marriage ceremony, and just asked you for a "gift" for the Baptismal ceremony, how much would you give?

I'm thinking $300-$350 but don't want to be a cheapo since I'm a good Catholic Chat Icon .

Thanks!

ETA: Its a private ceremony for a group of 4 children and their families...my church really goes all out and makes it really special...

I think it depends on your budget and what you can afford.

Is this a private baptism or will there be other babies done at the same time?

If private....$300 is good...if a group thing...I would give $150

I think that is very generous. When I got married the "donation" was $500, when we went to have DS baptized they asked for a donation and we gave $100.

I asked at Our lady of Hope and Sacred Hear Glendale and both suggested about $100-$150 for baptism.

I gave $100 donation for both my DDs when they were baptised. This was also for a small ceremony with 3 babies total.
