Bar recommendations

Can someone recommend a good bar/restaurant in nassau county?
My friend who just moved is coming back this weekend, and I am trying to find a place to get everyone together.
I am looking for something casual.
I was thinking rockville centre, but can't think of any places!
Thanks!!

E f f i n Gruven in Watagh isn't too bad, it gets really crowded though.

E F F I N's in Bellmore on Sunrise...They have good beer!...but no food if you want to eat.

How about Churchill's in RVC...They have good food, and also have an outside bar if it's nice out.

Re: Bar recommendations

Babylon area is really fun.

In RC I would suggest Churchills, RJ Daniels, or Canon's Blackthorn

I also second Babylon... The Post Office and Argyle are really great rest./bars. Good food, good drinks, great atmosphere!

Re: Bar recommendations

My vote goes for Hemingways in Wantagh or Churchill's in RVC.

There's also the St. James in Mineola and Leo's in Garden City.

Re: Bar recommendations

The Library Cafe in Farmingdale has the best martinis, all named after famous books.

It's owned by the same people who own the Post Office in Babylon.
