Barb, your a genius- Jordana slept in her own bed!!!

Now that we have discovered Jorana's preference for dresses, we used your method of telling Jordana that if she sleeps in her own bed, she gets to wear a dress. If she sleeps in our bed- she has to wear pants.

And it worked!! the first night, Jordana "chose" to sleep in our bed in the middle of the night, and when she had to wear pants the next day- she was fine (she picked out a nice pair of pink pants, pink shirt, pink shoes, pink underwear).

Second night- most of the night in her own bed- so we caved and let her wear a dress.

Last night- she woke up at 3 am and came to crawl into our bed. I told her if she did, she's have to wear pants. She said OK- she'd wear the pink pants. I told her they were in the laundry, so she went back to her bed. And woke up there in the morning!!

Yeah!! Glad it worked. It's amazing what they do to get what they want.

A few years ago, Maddie stopped sucking her thumb for a month so she could wear nail polish. Later she needed her thumb so we took it off.
