Have you ever tried any other mineral powder foundations? How did it compare?

I tried Sheer Cover- the Leeza Gibbons brand.
It was pretty good- but then I tried Bare Minerals and I liked them a little better- and I also like that you can buy Bare Minerals in the stores- with Sheer Cover you have to order it and they get you on this auto-refill plan that I hate!

I just started using Bare Minerals and I really love it. Plus, my skin has cleared up since I started it (hoping that's just not a coincidence)! I'm not sure about other companies though. I do like that you can purchase Bare Minerals in Sephora, Ulta, etc. instead of only ordering it online (and paying for shipping!).

I never even thought to buy it on ebay. Do you have a reliable source that you get it from on there?

I once had a makeup trial from someone who used Jane Iredale cosmetics. I've heard great things about this line - and it looked really nice after she was done.

I started using bare minerals recently. The makeup is nice for daily use (light coverage), but I find that when I go out in the evenings I prefer to wear traditional liquid makeup (laura mercier in particular). Similar to the other poster, since using the product I have also seen my skin clear up....which has been an excellent bonus.
I think it is definitely worth a try!

i like the sheer cover better. i bought the sheer cover at ulta, they had the starter kit there. you can also get it on ebay
