BARF
So I was at the spraygrounds the other day. Someone that I was with (no names or titles to protect the guilty ), her son had pooped in his swim diaper. What does this person do?
Pop him on top of the picnic table (where people eat) and change him RIGHT THERE...no blanket underneath him, no towel....
EWWWWWWWWWWWWW
she then wanted him to take a shower after we were done and she got him naked and let him stand under the shower, penis out for the world to see (he is 2)
DOUBLE EWWWWWWW.....

Re: BARF
While I would not change my son on a picnic table where people put their food, I have changed DS on the park bench and I have showered him naked under the beach showers. He is 2.5 for crying out loud and has a little winky dinky...I showered him and dressed him quickly after that. I don't see a big deal that she showered him naked...he's a little boy.

I agree. The changing a poop diaper on a table is gross but I see no harm is a naked 2 year old

Re: BARF
Can we just be clear to everyone that I did NOT go to the spray grounds with you so this was not me?
I've changed diapers in a lot of places but I would not change them on a table where people eat!

Re: BARF
I wouldn't change him on the table but I dont' see anything wrong with the shower thing..if he was 12 and not 2.. then I can see why you'd be grossed out.

Re: BARF
I guess I see your point about the shower...but really, he was at a water park, you couldn't wait to shower him at home?
Just rubbed me the wrong way....different strokes, I guess
the changing thing is nasty any way you slice it, put a towel down !!!

You only do it on strangers' front lawns
Steph-the changing thing is gross, but the naked baby doesn't bother me

ok, now that I think about it, the shower thing is not barf worthy, just something that I would not do unless I HAD to

Well, wait a second. Did she soap him up and let him run through the sprinkler park naked?
I would have a problem with that.

Re: BARF
Did she use the public shower at the sprinkler park?
You know I am a prude so I'm sure I'd frown upon whatever the situation was if it involved naked-ness!

Yeah, see, I wouldn't do that. I don't see the need. I agree with your original thought-just shower him at home.
