Bars/restaurants for 30th b;day cocktail party
Im interested in having DH 30th b/day party in a bar/restaurant. I would like to keep the price low. Western Suffolk/Nassau/Queens are all ook!

Johnny McGoreys in Massapequa Park has a smallish (not private) area in the back of the restaurant part.
Irish Pub in Massapequa Park has a seperate room in the back...kinda cool...like being out in a tented area!

The Main Event in Plainview - FANTASTIC!!
Great prices and GREAT food. Awesome place for all - whether it be more of an adult party or if you want it to be family-friendly. I plan on eventually having DH's party there but he has a few years to go!

HHMM, Jack Duggan's in Floral Park has a seperate big room upstairs and the prices are totally reasonable, Donovan's in Bayside, Tequila Sunrise in Bayside, Besito in Roslyn, Bourbon Street, Bayside! HTH

My friend had a party at Monaghans in Rockville Center, food AMAZING and the bar is right there
eta: this is a new place by the same owners of Russo's on the bay. It's in howard beach, queens and i'm going for a brunch, but it looks great, a smaller scale catering hall but different rooms like a wine bar, lounge, dining room for up to 100 and one other room:

Vetro is awesome! We've gone there twice already...now I won't go back until I have this baby so I can really enjoy the wine list and drinks!  Also, is DH a sports fan? What about McFadden's either in Rockville Centre or inside of Citi Field (you don't need a ticket to the game)!!!
