It seems that the basic skills of my hs kids have been diminishing over the past few years. I'm a freshmen and sophomore global history teacher and sometimes I feel like I am teaching to kids at a much lower level even though I work at a better private high school that is selective.
The kids have poor writing skills and geography stinks!!! Does anyone have any hints, worksheets, lesson plans, etc. that I can borrow or adapt to help these kids. I'm starting my school year not with the curriculum but with skill review. THanks soooo much!
