basket of goodies for a preggo...
i was thinking of making a basket of useful stuff people may not get my friend at her shower...idont want to go crazy with  but any ideas are appreciated....like must haves. TIA

Bibs, powder, diaper rash cream, teething gel, children's tylenol, baby nail clipper...
How about throwing a G/C in there for mommy as well?

For the baby or for the preggo?
For the baby i'd do
Mylicon drops
Infant Tylenol
Med syringe
Baby nail files
Burp cloths
Couple toys (small rattles/teethers)
Gift certificate for baby pictures
Tiny Diner placemat for eating out
Disposable changing pads
For mom
GC to her fav places to eat
Personally, I would have loved my fav treats in there too.

Do you mean for the mom or the baby? At my shower my mom and sister gave me a cool tote bag (the one you can put pics in) full of goodies I can use at the hospital. It had:
slippers
comfy pj's
lemon drops
snacks for the daddy
books
toiletries
lotion
makeup bag
I loved it and it all came in useful. It was nice to get a present for me.
