Bassinet Help Please! This is driving me crazy!
So I was planning on using the pack in play for the baby to sleep in for the first few months but, now I am thinking it may be way too big for my bedroom and I am worried about how sturdy it is since the mattress part seems to move back and forth (as my MIL pointed out - insisting she buy us a bassinet).
Can anyone reccommend a great bassinet or cradle that they love? So far I am considering either the one from PBK or the Eddie Bauer "B" is for Bear wooden rocking bassinet But i would take any suggestions.
This is my first baby and I plan to keep it for all the children I have so I am not overly worried about cost - just want something that the baby will like and will be very safe and sturdy.
I am going crazy over this decision! Thanks sooooooooooo much

I loved the Eddie Bauer one. Unfortunately, Charlie only slept in twice, for a few hours. The only thing we could get him to sleep in was his papasan and his car seat.

This is the bassinet that I got, it was not very expensive -- it got it brand new from a seller on ebay. The one thing I will recommend to you, regardless of which bassinet you get is to buy a different mattress to put in it. All of the bassinet mattresses I've seen have been really thin and flimsy. I bought one (for about $20 I think) from BRU and it really made the bassinet nice. Marron slept in it for about 3 months, when I moved her into the crib. I actually put it on top of the flimsy one that came with the bassinet.
By the way, I LOVE the one from PBK. My DH just wouldn't let me spend that much money on it.
Anyway, here is a pic of the one I got. It was actually pretty useful with the baskets underneath.

My parents got us the 4 in 1 bassinet by Simplicity - it is a bassinet, cosleeper etc. My daughter seems to love it - she sleeps well in it at night.

We had the Eddie Bauer one, and my son was out of it within 3 weeks. It was too narrow for him, and his arms kept on hitting into the sides, and it would wake him up. I moved him into a smaller pac and play (it is by graco, and its green) and he likes it much better. The only thing is that he flips around alot, and ends up facing west to east (the only way I can describe it) and his head touches the top, and his feet the bottom. I think I may have to put him in his crib
