BATH & BODY WORKS - ANIMAL TESTING???
I was looking at my body wash this morning and I noticed it said "FINISHED PRODUCT NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS" ... I thought it was really odd that they said "FINISHED Product" ... does that mean they test the unfinished product or some of the ingredients on animals? I always thought Bath & Body Works was sooo animal friendly and it kind of threw me off ... Anyone know the truth?

I have noticed that as well. I never know whether or not Bath and body works were animal friendly, but from reading that, I assume that they do some animal testing.

Edited: I was wrong - they do NOT test on animals - but use that wording in case any of the ingredients in the ingredients may have been tested on animals (oh boy!)

Re: BATH & BODY WORKS - ANIMAL TESTING???
It means that the companies they get their ingredients from may or may not test on animals.
It's just bureaucratic BS to save their face, imo.

Re: BATH & BODY WORKS - ANIMAL TESTING???
some dyes have to be tested on animals - fda rules before they can be used on people - so if they use a dye in the product - the finished product wasn't tested but the original dye was at some point tested on animals
