Bath seats?

So, DD is getting too big for the tub in the kitchen sink. We have this infant tub to seat thing posted below...but I don't like the tub seat. She's slipping and sliding all over, and the bar between the legs...I'm just glad she's not a boy because I don't see how that would work Chat Icon

Anyway...does anyone have any recommendations?

This is the one we currently have...and I don't like the seat that goes into the actual tub..it was fine when it was in the sink.

Re: Bath seats?

we have the safety first bath seat, and I think it works great. I haven't had a problem with DD slipping and sliding.

I actually have this one for my son and I think it is great, maybe she's too little still to use it as a seat.

Re: Bath seats?

I think the best place to give my Molly Elise Chat Icon a bath is in the kitchen sink. I put a towel in the bottom of the sink so she doesn't slide around and she sits up on her own and holds onto the side of the sink. You don't have to bend over the tub.

I also have this one that I will start using soon. It is inflatable and sits inside the big tub. The beak even quacks. Chat Icon I bought it at Target.
Its only $10 and it is great to have if you travel.

That looks awesome! I am going to look into buying it. As you said, it'll be great for vacations. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Bath seats?

I had the same tub you did and it didn't last. It leaked and I ended up throwing it out. I too give DD a bath in the kitchen sink. At first it was a little tough cause she slipped a little but I just held her a little. Now she is 10 months and it still works out great. No strain on the back eitherChat Icon
