Re: bathing baby

Mamo,
My baby will be 2 weeks old 2mrw so I just sponge bath her. I do have a fold away bath tub for when I can get a better handle on her. I got it @ BRU but sure any store has it. Space saver too...there are huge tubs out there but take a lot of space up (storage).

same here. i don't love it because i feel like the hammock top isn't submerged enough in the water, so i'm always having to scoop water onto the baby so he doesn't get cold. once he's big enough for the tub without the hammock i think it will be fine.

We got the $10 space saver tub (the sides fold in). You have to keep one hand on the baby so she doesn't fall to the side but that's how I would bathe DD anyway.

When she could sit up in the tub, we got an inflatable tub to insert into the big tub. We still use it and she's over a year old. It's cushy and uses less water.

I use theLeachco Safer Bather - Infant Bath Pad in the regular tub! It works great! no slipping and we don't have room for an infant tub.
