bathing baby
what did you use to bathe your newborn? What about lotions/oils for moisturization?
I was thinking Johnson's and Johnsons, but was looking for advice.
Thanks!

Re: bathing baby
I like California Baby. A lot of my friends like Johnson and Johnson and Mustella as well.

Re: bathing baby
DD was allergic to a lot of stuff, so we used either Cetaphil or Dove soap in the beginning.

Re: bathing baby
I use either Aveeno unscented cream wash or regular good ol' Dove Sensitive Unscented.
For everyday lotion I use Aveeno unscented moisturizer. For eczema or very, very dry skin I use Aquaphor.
I heard that J&J is actually one of the more drying soaps/lotions out there.

Re: bathing baby
I originally used J&J, but I stopped after reading about the chemicals that were in it. I started using California Baby. I don't use any lotions on DS.

Re: bathing baby
I use California Baby body wash on DD. I don't use any moisturizers. She is 6 weeks old and her skin looks good.

Re: bathing baby
I have Huggies Sensitive Wash and J&J Nighttime Moisture Wash I got as gifts that I've been using. I dab a little Triple Cream (from the makers of Triple Paste) on her dry spots. Right now, I only use warm water or Cetaphil to wipe her face.

I use California Baby. I use a little bit of lotion for now because DS has dry skin.
