Bathing Suits for Full Figured Ladies
Where do you get your bathingsuits from?
DD's here and can never find anything in the store that holds them.

Go to Great Shapes. There is one in Merrick and one in Roslyn. In Suffolk there is Blums in Patchogue.
Good Luck..

Blum's in Patchogue - also Land's End has some great plus size bathing suits with under wire for extra support. And they are a great quality, I have 2.

Re: Bathing Suits for Full Figured Ladies
I'm not a full-figured woman, but I just have to say I find it amazing how many women buy bathing suits online!! This is one article of clothing that I need to try on in-person!! Anyone with me? I tried ordering some suits from Victoria's Secret once...what a joke. I seriously try on about 20 suits before I find the right one.

Unfortunately, for us plus-sized girls, there isn't much of a selection in the stores. If there ARE any, there's usually made for someone who's about 60 years old. I'd love to be able to buy my suits in the stores, but I always strike out.
I've always had REALLY good luck with Newport News! I got my most recent bathing suit there and I LOVE it!!!!

I like the ones from Avenue but I don't have a big bust so I'm not sure what they have in underwire. The ones I've bought are halter tops.

Re: Bathing Suits for Full Figured Ladies
I usually have to buy seperates. I'm alot bigger on top than on the bottom. There are a few places that I have bought bathing suits from that sell seperates where the tops are sized like bras. Victoria's Secret. venus swimwear, and Great Shapes in Roslyn and Merrick. The suits are a bit more money, but totally worth it!

Re: Bathing Suits for Full Figured Ladies
I posted a suit that I love a while back
Linky
I have worn this suit so many times and it really does hold the ladies up. I love that it has built in cups too.
The only issue I have is that the straps leaves marks on my shoulders for a day or two after I wear the suit, but that's no big deal to me.

Land's End. They are expensive but they last forever. I usually wind up ordering 5 and them keeping one or 2.
