we got our tiles at Lowe's. They were special order and I really like them. We went with grays and blues...very serene instead of earthy tones. I'm glad we did and I'm very happy with it.
I will post a pic....as soon as I can.

No pics yet, but we got our tile at Cancos and I was very happy with them. 1 vanity we got at Costco believe it or not, and the rest of the stuff (sinks, tubs, bowls) came from Blackman.
HTH!

I don't have any pics but I will try to get some. I got my vanity, countertop, medicine cabinet, mirror and lighting from Home Depot. The tile came from Cancos and the tub, toilet, shower fixtures and faucet came from Blackman. The hardest thing for me to comit to was the tile so I suggest you start with that. Find a tile you love and then chose everything else to go with it. It took me about 3 weeks to finally comit to a tile that I loved. Cancos has great stuff but there are a lot of other places to get tile, Home Depot and Lowes have great designer tile now. Once I had my tile picked out, I new I wanted a white tup and toilet, chrome accessories, navajo white paint for the door and top portion of the walls that aren't tiled etc. Once you have the tile, the rest is easy! Good Luck! And Congrats! There is nothing like a brand new bathroom! Its the best!

Blackman Plumbing and Heating Supplies - they have a couple of locations all over Long Island and Queens. You can check online for the nearest showroom. I used the one in Huntington. I know there is one in Riverhead and Mineola.

I wanted a classic look - something that would look current in 10 years as opposed to someone being able to tell me when I re-did it, kwim? The easiest way to do this was to go white - white subway tiles and a white & black hex floor (tile from ProSource) and chrome fixtures (from Blackman in Huntington) with a cast iron tub, white pedestal sink (both Kohler from Blackman) and a white toilet (a Toto also from Blackman). White medicine cabinet from Pottery Barn...Tranquil Blue walls from Benjamin Moore.
I clipped inspiration from Pottery Barn & Kohler catalogues.

We just used Home Depot Expo. They were soooooo helpful! It was so overwhelming to walk in there, my head was spinning! But it helped us to get a vision for the bathroom, and we actually just ordered all the fixtures we need. Now, just waiting for my permit to be approved so we can move forward with the renovations!

Re: Bathroom questions for those who had bathroom done pics appreciated
Well we got the linen tower from pottery barn as well as the medicine chest. We got a standard white Kohler tub from Home depot. We got the white Kohler toilet & pedestal sink from Expo (Home Depot doesn’t carry Kohler’s "stately" line which I wanted) Our fixtures are brushed nickel price pfister from expo. Tile from Cancos.
I picked out a bunch of tile i liked and once I said I had white sinks/tub/toilet it was narrowed down to 2 choices. One was ugly. I knew I wanted neutrals also so that helped. I like to introduce color into a room w/ accents.
I wanted "chair rail" & an accent boarded in the shower also & cancos had everything.
I got frameless glass shower doors (A friend of mine does those & custom closets)
I originally wanted a vanity but w/ our space it wouldn’t have been symmetrical (drawers on one side cabinets on the other.) I didn’t want that so we choose a pedestal & I'm sooo glad we did!
I will bump pics for you.
Bumped it. It't the one that starts w/ UPDATED WITH PICK ON BOTTOM...
