Bathroom re-tile?
Does anyone know approx how much it costs to get a small bathroom retiled?

It does go by the square foot taking into account more money if you want to create any decorative patterns.
For example, a tile floor laid on the diagonal will cost about $1-2 more per suare foot to install because there is more cutting involved.

The last estimate I got was $6-$7 sq ft for wall tile and $10 sq ft for floor tile (in mud).

It depends on the room size, tile type and size, place you purchase it from and the installer cost. Also, if you're removing old tile there will be a demolition cost as well.
