Bathtub Reglazing
My tub and tiles are being done right now...I am so excited to see how they come out. I took before and after pics, I will post when my whole bathroom is done in 7-10 days. I didn't get a before with all the gross moldy caulking, which was 100X worse, but you'll get the idea!

Re: Bathtub Reglazing
Mind my asking how much it's costing? Are you glazing just the tub or the tub and surrounding tiles? We're toying with the idea of glazing our tiles... we glazed the tub in our last house and it came out GREAT.

Re: Bathtub Reglazing
It is 300 for the tub, 600 for tub and 3/4 tiles (3/4 up the wall)

Re: Bathtub Reglazing
We are interested in doing that soon as well, my tub is OLD and the only way to get it sparkling clean is with the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and Kabbom and Tilex
Good luck- I can't wait to hear about your results!

Re: Bathtub Reglazing
Could you please FM me the information for the company who are doing it?
We just got an old claw-footed tub that I want to put in our bathroom when we are re-doing it and it needs to be reglazed. I'd also like to get my kitchen sink done.
TIA

If you don't mind who is doing the work and where are they located?

Yes, YEs Do tell, who are you using and how long start to finish are they estimating? $600 is great! My FH and I are looking to do this, as we are looking to buy a homa but want to sell his 1BR 1BA condo first but the only thing left to do is the bathroom!

Re: Bathtub Reglazing
Well, my bathtub and tiles look great. I would recommend the "process", but not necessarily the company I chose. I used Glaze Tec in Mastic, I found them in the Yankee trader...I was skeptical about chosing a company, but I didn't know anyone who had done this before. They didnt cover my new tile floors completely, so when I walked in to check the tub my flip flops stuck to the floor. When I wiped my finger across the floor, white was on the tips (we had the tub sprayed white). The guy explained that it was "residue", but I spent the night cleaning up "residue" with lacquer thinner/remover off my BRAND NEW TILE FLOOR. I'll let you know how it holds up once we start showering and will post pics when I get the chance.

Re: Bathtub Reglazing
I had my tub and tiles reglazed in my coop, I'm now selling it....I had it done a year ago and it's still perfect. I went from a yellow tub and tiles to white. I used the Tub Doctor and Chris can be reached at 800-361-8644. The whole process took two days and he was very clean.
I don't have before pics but here is an after pic. Image Attachment(s):
