Batman Dark Knight (no spoilers)
Was absolutely INCREDIBLE....
I walked in having lower expectations for the hype around Heath Ledger's performance, and he certainly did not disappoint. ABSOLUTELY the BEST of the Batman Series...
Will say this though...I found myself correlating Batman as BATEMAN....LOL - Christian Bale will always be Patrick Bateman to me!

oh yeaaah---that book is really much more twisted than the film, since the imagery he describes.... crazy!!!
ps--i love how this thread has changed from the dark knight to american psycho.

Omg the movie was awesome!!!!
Playing the joker is hard being compared to Nicholson but damn he did a SICK job! I originally though it was hyped up b/c of heaths death but he did a phenomenal job. I am in love with the movie

DH has recently been obsessed w/ American Psycho (& Christian Bale for that matter) so we will be seeing that this weekend...
I love the scene from Amer Psycho when he looks at everyone's business cards... and he knows the color and fonts "Ecru, Times Font"

I was totally thinking of American Psycho when I saw Dark Knight. Christian Bale used the same voice and accent with both characters. I thought Heath stole the movie. Unfortunately it was way too long for my liking and could have been 2 separate movies. JMO!

i am NOT a batman fan at all... but we saw this movie today and i have to say, it was pretty darn good! there is definitely hype because of heath's death - but he deserves the hype because he plays an awesome psycho!! and christian bale

great way to explain it
i totally agree---it had EVERYTHING that a great summer movie should have.
i plan on seeing it at least 2 more times.

I posted this earlier, I dont think it was as good as all the hype. I jsut dont this was the best batman movie.
However, Heath ledger did kick @ss as the joker. Batmans voice was irritating, too overdone.
