Batzofin vs. Gramercy Park?
Dr B has 2 labs he uses now? I know he has used SIRM and then AFS and then Batzofin... but I've never heard of Gramercy Park. Anyone used both of them? Or either? Would love your feedback, especially about Gramercy Park. Who is the Dr there? TIA!

Re: Batzofin vs. Gramercy Park?
I used the new office. I'm happy to answer questions you might have!
Not sure if it has to do with the lab, but I had really great embryos there that developed better than my previous ones (I have never had hatching blasts before).

Does this mean he uses two different labs currently?

Re: Batzofin vs. Gramercy Park?
If my cycle had progressed properly this month, I would have been going to Gramercy Park (I used Batzofin last time). Dr. B said it was better for his patients in terms of insurance.

Re: Batzofin vs. Gramercy Park?
I find it confusing that the Gramercy Park is better for Dr. B patients with insurance. Dr. B. told me last week that all billing will be done through his office and he is no longer taking insurance. all OOP. Just confusing.
Dr. B. told me that Gramercy Park was established by an embryologist. He decided to open his own lab for IVF etc. The embryologist is supposed to be pretty good.
I haven't used either of the new places. Good luck.

Re: Batzofin vs. Gramercy Park?
I used Batzofins off ice in May for my IVF. I loved them there!! My insurance does not cover IVF so I paid OOP. I had the most eggs there and after 7yrs I got my first BFP. Im now 10 weeks pregnant. FM if you have any questions.

It's my understanding that Dr.B is no longer using Dr.Batzofin's office, but I could be wrong about that. I thought he officially switched to the Grammercy Park location.

Re: Batzofin vs. Gramercy Park?
I had a great experience at Batzofin's office. Dr. Batzofin was great, fantastic embryologist, late but nice anesthesiologist, all staff was pleasant and helpful. No complaints at all.

What is the official name of the facility? Who is the doctor there that does the ret/trans?
