BBQ Problem-Turning On

Wondered if anyone has ever had this problem. When we go to click on the button to turn on the BBQ (even after turning on the burners and they come on), it does nothing. There is plenty of propane. It is a Weber Genesis BBQ.
Thanks :)

We had this years ago with our propane grill. Turned out a spiderweb was clogging the line.

Change the battery in the igniter. It should be a AA BAttery.

Re: BBQ Problem-Turning On

Probably battery in ignitor. same thing happened with our last year. We left the stupid battery in all winter and it leaked and actually damaged the ignitor piece, the piece that you press didnt click right. SO we called and got a replacement part.

you could also use a fireplace lighter to see if it ignites - to trouble shoot if it's the igniter.

Ok, no battery for this BBQ and no spiderwebs.

Did you try a different tank?
Maybe the one you have is clogged.
Not sure if that's possible, but it's worth trying a new one.

Re: BBQ Problem-Turning On

He said it is full so no. The gas will turn on and we can probably light it manually.

That is what we are going to probably have to do for now.
