BBQed Baby Back Ribs
I never made these on the grill before. I'm so nervous about undercooked pork. DH says I should parboil them, and I thought maybe I should cook them in the oven for a bit first.
How do you make them?

I always preboil, they come out really tender that way!

Re: BBQed Baby Back Ribs
What about sticking them in the microwave for a few minutes, that might have a similar effect to parboiling them

Re: BBQed Baby Back Ribs
thats what i do.. i put them in a baking dish cover with saran wrap and microwave until they are no longer pinkish. They come out very tender that way also.

Re: BBQed Baby Back Ribs
My dad makes awesome ribs. He starts them by wrapping them tightly in tinfoil with 2 or 3 ice cubes and puts them on the grill on low for about 1 1/2 hours. Then takes them out of the tinfoil brushes them with bbq sauce and cooks them for another 30 minutes brushing with the sauce. They literally fall off the bone with no meat left on the bone. The ice cubes steam the meat and it is really tender.

Re: BBQed Baby Back Ribs
I boil the ribs in beef broth and water for an hour, then put the bbq sauce on it (Bulls eye regular and 1 cup of honey) and grill it for 3-4 minutes each side.
