I am not sure about under $300, but we just got a great one at Home Depot with a side burner. This BBQ is huge though and it was only $550, so I am sure there are smaller ones around the price you are looking for, but with a side burner it might be tough to find.

Sears? You might have to wait for a sale or end of season.
Good and sideburner are hard to find under $300.

I think in a couple of weeks they go down a bit price-wise (we got ours right after July 4th and it was on sale for $250 - I checked last night when I got home).

If you can find a Weber for around $300 I say buy it. We have had so many grills before- this thing is the best ever.

it doesn't take long...i would reserve a couple of hours to assemble...

Lowes has them already assembled, no extra charge. We got a stainless commercial series one with a side burner for $299. LOVE it!

We didn't have to put together ours. Just had to connect the propane tank to the grill. It's a kenmore.
