BBT - does anyone know?
Its been said that a good sign of conception is when your BBT stays high, and continues to climb after O. Does anyone know just how high? 2 degrees? 3?

Re: BBT - does anyone know?
I'm pretty sure everyone is different, but I'd guess more on the order of .5 - 1 degree.

Re: BBT - does anyone know?
there is no rule to what the difference should be..they simply need to be higher then your pre O temps....there is no way of telling if you are pregnant just by the temps....it is not a sign....
what matters is that your temps stay elevated at the time you are due for AF and after....your temps will drop the day before telling you that you are about to get AF....if they stay elevated and you don't get AF (you need about 16 high temps) you migh be pregnant....

I like to check other people's charts to see, it varies for everyone.

It does vary, but you want those temps up and to stay up past the day AF is due. You will hear that a triphasic chart is a good sign, but it could go either way. I just had a beautiful triphasic chart and then AF showed up on time.

Re: BBT - does anyone know?
18 high temps after O is supposedly an accurate sign of pg but I don't know too many ladies that are actively TTC that would wait until 18DPO to test with a HPT. Good luck

Re: BBT - does anyone know?
Your temps will be high after ovulation because of the progesterone. This happens in every ovulatory cycle you have. They say *some* pregnancy charts show a triphasic pattern, meaning you temps have a second shift around 7dpo- however you can also have this and not be PG. The only way to show pregnancy with temping is 18 days of sustained high temps after O, which as a PP stated, is much later then most of us will wait to test!!!
