BC question
How many months in advance did you go of BC before TTC? Did you find it necessary to get to know your cycle first?

Re: BC question
I ws told it could take up to 3 months to have a normal cycle but my last pill was saturday night and I started charting on that sunday. I had a very regular month.. Next month I got pregnant..
There is no medical reasons for waiting..its just you dont know when or if your cycles will be normal.
Seems most woman I talk to all go back right away to pretty normal ones..
You can chart and get to know your cycles AND TTC at the same time..you got nothing to loose..

Re: BC question
My doctor advised 3 months. However he did say there is no medical reason to wait, it was just to regulate your cycle.

Re: BC question
I went off it a year before TTC because I wanted a break from it.
My cycles were normal right off the bat!

Re: BC question
I went off about 6 months before we were going to start trying. I had one "normal" cycle, and then very long and irregular cycles.
I'm glad I found that out before TTC, but looking back, I would have tried that first month since you can be very fertile when you first stop BCP.
