BCP Question
So- I have decided to go back on the pill because we are now not going to start TTC until next Jan/Feb since I just started a new job... and after waiting 7.5 weeks for my period to show up-- I am craving regularity!
When do I start a new pill pack? It's the Sunday after the start of your period, right? So if my period started Sunday night, I should start next Sunday.
Thanks, I don't feel like dealing with calling my doc's office.

Read the package insert that comes with whatever brand/dose of pills you are taking if you don't want to call the MD. Each brand is different.

I have had irregular periods for over 10 years (my last cycle was 82 days) and when I went on BCP my doctor told me to start taking them that Sunday, whether or not I got my period. If you would rather wait until you get your period, but don't want to "wait", your doctor can prescribe something (can't remember the name) to give you your period and then you can start after that. Congrats on the new job and good luck!

I really think you should call your MD's office or read the package insert.
