BCP question (loestrin FE)

Today my doctor decided to discontinue Yasmin for me - endless side effects.
I'm going to be starting Loestrin Fe -

Do you think I should give my body a break before starting the new pill? My doctor said to start it midweek of my placebo's. did you ever take a few months "off" between switches?
maybe it might be a good thing.

I can't even tell you how I think this pill is affecting my life right now. I can't wait to feel better. FM for specifics (Yasmin).

If it makes you feel any better, when i was on yasmin, i wanted to jump off a bridge, i could barely breathe, i had panic attacks and bordeline depression...it was a BLAST! lol.

I am now on loestrin..i was actually on loestrin before yasmin and gave yasmin a try b/c i was a little emotional at points on loestrin...well i'd rather that than the hell i went through on that pill. Tons of women went through hell with yasmin too (although some have no side effects). It was NOT A good pill for me. Hope you feel better!

Oh to answer your ?...i switched right over to loestrin and felt a difference within a few days. It can't hurt to switch right away.
