BD after D&C

When did you DTD after a D&C?

Its been 3 1/2 weeks for me. I have no real desire but poor DH is looing :)

I have not had my follow up appointment yet - should I wait?

I had my D+C 12 days ago. Nada so far. Probably soon. I don't have a follow up appointment. My dr just told me to start whenever I felt comfortable.

I waited until about 2 weeks after I got my first period.

To be honest... it wasn't good. I was just sooo dry still from the D&C. Eventually things went back to normal though.

Thank you all...zero interest on my part but DH wants to try to get our lives back to normal somehow.

I had strict orders from my ob/gyn "nothing in me" tampons, DH until my follow up with him which was 2 weeks after the d&c. Once I went for my appt he said that I was cleared to resume normal activity of any sort. He just said to take it easy and just go with what I was comfortable with. It honestly wasn't that great at first. I did it more for DH b/c well, we all know how they can get after a while. It's been almost 7 weeks since my d&c and I have to say that it has gotten better. I would just call your MD to check and then ease yourself back into it. I think the biggest concern the MD's have is infection

I waited 4 weeks because that was my doctors orders. Exactly 4 weeks later we I was a little nervous about it because it had been so long and because of the surgery but he took it easy and it was an amazing stress reliever.

we waited 2 weeks from the D&C... basically i felt fine and we hadnt had sex since i found out i was pregnant so it was almost 3 months that we went with out... i felt bad lol

I waited a long time, prob 6 weeks, it was after my 1st period. I was so emotional and just not in the mood. But then I changed real fast - lol!

My dr told me today that she has a patient that ended up in the hospital because she had sex 2 days after her D&C and got a nasty infection She said to wait a week after the bleeding stops.
