BD just isnt the same anymore UPDATE

why isnt BD fun when trying to get pregnant!! Am i the only one?

I hear ya. It's like, the whole time you are thinking, "am I going to conceive now?" It stinks!

PLUS dh and i are supposed to be BD now and hes SLEEPING!!!!!!!!!!!

I totally agree. I too feel like everytime I think I am fertile I am asking " Are we conceiving." I feel kind of bad .

I feel the same way!!! We still try to keep it light and fun though...easier said then done!!

IM really sad right now. Im ovulating between today and tomorrow. My Dh works night and thats why hes passed out. hes literally exhausted!!. I guess anither month with a BFN

No....BD became a chore after a few months of TTC for us...Now after over a year of TTC we are trying to get back on track...If not we are afraid we will nothing but wasted time to look back on...SO ENJOY...try and try harder to put TTC out of your mind and have fun with your hubby..THATS what its about in the end

ok Update...... early this morning Dh and i started to BD. The man who can finish the deed no problem got soft!!!!! seriously im going ot scream! i couldnt stay bc i had to go to work. So thats leaves us for later. Hopefully its not to late

I feel bad for our DH's. They have so much pressure on them to perform on cue. We can just squeeze in some Pre Seed and are ready to go, but they have to work at it sometimes.

I know we've had the occassional issue as well.

I've made a concerted effort to stop saying "We have to." and instead start the foreplay myself in subtle ways, so it's more fun and less of a chore.

It's working better for us this month.

yes, it turns into a chore, but it shouldnt. Light some candles, buy smoe new lingerie and put the romance back into it

I remember with TTC #2 and going to the RE and having to wake DH up at like 6am to BD while holding a cup to retreive his stuff to bring in for my IUI...
It wasnt very romantic.. lol

I agree with you Donna. As much as I think my husband knows the times we are trying to concieve, I try not to bring it to his attention when we are BDing. I don't want him to think that is the sole purpose of it. And I do try to initiate it at other times too. I still want him to feel special.

I agree with you- it was definitely more fun trying not to get pregnant.

Some days are better then others
