Which one to recommend?
The Phoenix Hemingways (been several times in past) Thom Thom Jones Beach Hotel - Per Un Angelo

Re: Bday Dinner Nassau
If you like a more funky atmosphere with eclectic food, try Snaps on Wantagh Ave just south of Sunrise Hwy.

Snaps is definitely great food! (but its SMALL - so I would call ahead and make a reservation) Of the places you listed, I have only been to Thom Thom & Hemingways and of those 2, I would definitely pick Thom Thom

I have a giftcard to Snaps, I can't wait to use.
If you are okay coming to Massapequa, I recommend Salumi.
I like that it's a little "different" from the norm and you can hang out a bit and talk.
