BDB - Lover Reborn (possible spoilers)
I'm trying to pace myself because I dont want to finish it too quickly. I'm loving it so much! I'm at around page 200. Anyone else reading it? Thoughts?

Re: BDB - Lover Reborn (possible spoilers)
I read it a few weeks ago. I love the whole series, but was a little disappointed by this one. I love Tohrment and I kinda felt like they didn't do his story justice and there were too many side stories for me. I do, however, like the progression of Quinn and Layla and can't wait to read their book.
I believe this is the last of the core characters and she's spinning off now.

ETA I just realized you didn't finish OP, so don't read on until you do.
Nope, one more set. Next book is Blay and Qhuinn!! I think it's scheduled for March 2013. I'm wondering if Layla gets killed and it becomes like My Two Dads.
I was disappointed in this one. I suppose there wasn't anyone she could have paired with Tohr that I would have liked, short of bringing Wellsie back, but I thought No One was horrible. The whole get together seemed super forced, and No One was just blah. Also, this book was supposed to take place over a year, but I didn't really feel the passage of time at all. I'm disappointed int the change in Xcor. I would have liked him to remain a badass. I can't buy his cause for the throne anymore. Layla annoys me to no end, the way she falls for anyone with something in his pants she might get at. I know I'm supposed to feel sorry for her, but I just don't. So many of the other women in this series are such strong characters that I find Layla and No One just don't belong in that mix. I did tear up a little at the fade ceremony when he cried out Wellsie and Tohr's names, though.
I'm really looking forward to Qhuay! Though I said that about the last 3 books and was disappointed in them all. It seems like all her good mojo has gone into the FA series, so I'm really looking foward to Rapture in Sept.

I thought No One to be one of the most insipid and spineless characters. She brought nothing to the table and I was disappointed in the pairing.
I was also annoyed at the whole thing with John and Xhex.
Layla is kinda weird. I don't understand her pull towards Xcor. She has no real mind of her own and that's frustrating as a reader - especially since we're used to seeing such strong females in this series. Like I said, I do like the relationship between her and Quinn though because they each fill a place in the other's lives and Quinn is so lost.
I can't wait to read about Blay and Quinn though!
