BDing BEFORE Ovulation
Ok
So its our 5th month trying and I have been reading up alot
Its about time ti try this cycle
I read you should do most of the BDing BEFORE O bc the sperm will live inside for a few days and it has a better chance of it being in there when you O then you BDing exactly when you O
I should O sat or sun
I was thinking of BDing tonight, tomorrow and Thurs, then again Sat & Sun. Is that too much? lol DH said he is up to the challenge!

If I were you, I would only do it every other day. I know they say it is okay to do it every day, but when we were TTC our first, we would do it every day and the first cycle we decided to do it every other day, I got PG.

I would do it either every other day, starting tonight, until Sunday/Monday...or do it 2 days before O and then 2 days after O.

Well, if you're going to O on Sat or Sun I would BD tomorrow, Fri, Sat and Sun or skip Sat and just BD on Sun.

It's never too much!  But with that said... yes, it's better to BD before ovulation as the sperm can live up to 72 hours (some say 5 days but I think that's streching it), whereas your egg I believe is only alive for 12 (or 24) hours. Once you ovulate, it's generally too late as the spermies swim verrrrrrrrry slowly.

Definetly BD before Ovulation. I bd'd 2 days before/ not the day of/ and 2 days after ovulation. I'm pregnant! good luck!

I would BD everyday as long as DH does not have any sperm issues. But I would wait till tomorrow and BD everyday through Monday. If that seems like a lot to you than I would start Thursday and go through Monday. BD right before ovulation is very important so I would get a jump start on it.

I agree. With both pregnancies I didn't get pregnant unless it was every day, from four days before all the way through ovulation. The every other day thing was not working for us.

I had heard the same thing and so we BD'd before my surge and it didn't work. But I'm not sure what happened last month as I was 4 days late and then got my period. Mind you I'm NEVER late. 
This time around we did before and during, I'm hoping we'll have better results.
