Be careful ladies!
So today I had an interesting day! I slipped on some water in my mud room and fell face forward. I tried to catch myself but my stomach did hit the ground a little. So I called the doctor's service and they told me I should get checked out at Winthrop.
So, I was put on the fetal monitor and the baby was moving finally when we got there. The heart rate was good too. I received an internal exam to check to make sure my cervix was closed which it is but the dr. said I was 50% effaced. She also did a vaginal sonogram b/c I told them about the umbilical cord being down lower than the baby's head and they said that it looked to them like the cord moved!  Anyways, after I was monitored for 2 hours they did another external sonogram and said everything looked good. I just had a UTI possibly - which obviously has nothing to do with the fall! I am having mild inconsistent contractions but I don't feel them at all.
A FYI too - they were going to do a FFN test to see if I will deliver within the next two weeks, but if you have had sex w/in the last 24 hours it comes up positive.  So I couldn't get that test done. Anyways, I am happy everything is good with the baby! I also need to find something to do with DH when I go into labor b/c he is not calm at all!!!!!!!!!!! His face freaked me out more than anything.
Anyways ladies - just be careful! I feel like a klutz and I always have been! I need to be much more careful!

Thank G-d you and the baby are ok. Between the two of us, maybe we shouldn't hang out with our trips to the hospital and all.

I actually already had my fall scare While on vacation, we were a bit lost and couldn't figure out which bus to take, so I wanted to ask the bus driver who was picking up people.... I walked to the door, my foot missed the curb and I tumbled... I did NOT hit my belly at all, though... just scraped my knee and foot.
I think the combo of preggo brain fog and the relaxin hormone/weight redistribution is a toxic combo... we're all VERY prone to falling 
definitely everyone be careful!

Seriously :) Im glad your ok though! Hopefully no more trips to the hospital until actual labor
