Re: Swimming in the lake. The answer is yes, you can. My kids were in with their cousins this past summer. I personally don't as I am not a fan of not seeing what is beneath my feet ;) I guess it all depends on how brave one is! However, yes, water is swimmable. Our traffic consists of paddleboards, kayaks, canoes - its quite a cool little spot.
