Bed Pillows - How Often Do You Change Them Out?
My DH loves firmer pillows and I love softer ones so we have a few of each kind on our bed but regardless of the type, we seem to have to swap them out every 6 months at most. They flatten out so quickly and become uncomfortable! I've tried ones from Target, BB&B and Macy's and have had the same result every time.
How quickly do you go through pillows before you replace them?
What are your favorite kinds of pillows?
Where do you buy them?

I totally agree. and I think the more i pay for the pillow, the faster it flattens out!
The best pillow I ever had was a Nautica or tommy Hilfiger purchased at Ross for under 10 bucks. It lasted for years. But I bought the same brand at a regular store and of course it flattened out!

Home Goods sells excellent pillows for very little. Right now, DH and I are using ergonomic foam pillows we have had for 2 years. Prior to that, I switched pillows every 3 years.

We just bought a new one for DH last week - his last one was a year old. I tend to not going through them as fast because I'm weird, I like mushy flat pillows. 
We usually get ours from BB&B too. I used to like down pillows but eventually the sharp feather ends would poke me in the head. Then it had to go.

I change my pillows so often. I have gone through fairly expensive pillows, to medium priced to cheap and i don't know what DH does to them but they get so out of shape. We probably change our around every 6 months also.

I had no idea you were supposed to change pillows out that often??
i just keep mine until it doesn't feel right anymore.
i think i've had my current pillow for at least 5 years and it still fluffs up nicely and feels comfy.
