Re: Bed Time
Dd is 3. When I'm at work and she's at daycare, she's in her bed at 8:00. Any earlier is impossible by the time we get home, have dinner, etc. I'm home now on maternity leave and I work in a school so I also get long vacations. During these long breaks, bedtime is moved up a little more to 7:40.

Bed Time
DS is 22 months and is asleep by 7:30. On weekdays, he needs to be up by 6:20. Also, DH and I are in bed by 9 and need downtime.
ETA: In the summer, he usually goes to bed at the same time. We have blinds and room darkening curtains. It always looks like night in his room. LOL! If we are out at a party/event, I am flexible.

Re: Bed Time
DS1 is almost 5. He goes to bed about 7:45. DS2 is 2.5. He goes to be at 7:15-7:30. We will not change it for the summer because no matter what time they go down they get up at the same time.

DS is 3 years old and it's an accomplishment if we can get him to bed around 9pm. He's a night owl, but we have to wake him up early for daycare so we start telling him it's bedtime around 8:30pm.

Bed Time
Before Kindergarten? From 9pm to 10:30pm She was always up and at 'school' by 7am-7:30am since 15w
After Kindergarten? 8:30pm-9pm Tops! She started to crash at 8pm once school started she's moved up to 8:30 after getting used to it a bit. But really can't manage to stay up later. She herself goes to bed. With school, she's up at 6:15 and we are out the door by 7am every morning. So the routine is the same, but proper school is just different and more taxing on her.
She napped in Kinder and if given a chance will still nap now. Frankly who doesn't want or need a nap? LOL

Re: Bed Time
Whenever she gets tired. We don't have a set time. But as i mentioned on the time change thread, ever since the time changed in the fall she is exhausted super early. So usually she is out cold by 730

Bed Time
Both kids, 2 and 5 go to bed between 8 and 830. They have to be up by 7ish during the week. On the weekends its usually by 9pm and they sleep as late as they want. Over the summer when I am home (I am a teacher) it is whenever they pass out lol

Re: Bed Time
weekdays - around 8PM weekends - between 9 - 10PM. We like to do movie nights or go out to dinner with friends and their kids. Sometimes later and sometimes earlier. AS long as the boys are being good we don't push it.

Does ur bed time change during summer time because of day time?
I think the answers to your questions depend on age of the child, whether the child naps and what time they wake up.
My kids are 6 and almost-3. The almost 3 year old still naps and goes to bed at 8, asleep by 8:30. She wakes around 7ish and naps for 1.5-2 hours in the middle of the day. My 6 year old doesn't nap lol. He goes to bed 8:30, asleep 9ish. Wakes around 7ish.
In the summer, yes they go to bed later because with the sun being out so late, we tend to do more things in the afternoon/evening and it pushes things back a bit, but only by about a half hour.
