I skeeve the thought, that why every 2 weeks I wash my mattress pad and pillow protectors in bleach and hot water and dry them on the hottest setting. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night at the thought of bugs, I feel at least a little bit comforted that I do everything to keep them to a minimum

My friend had bedbugs, it was HORRIBLE, they noticed horrible red rashes and bites all over their bodies, and didn't know what it was. They kept going to different doctors, who didn't know what was going on, finally one said that it was bedbugs... well, there were bedbugs EVERYWHERE.
They were in the bed, pillows, rugs, furniture, couch, and they can't get rid of them!!!!!!!!
They had Terminix come at least 7 or 8 times to spray, they threw out their couch, the bed, the linens, the pillows, most of the furniture, they had the carpet steam cleaned MANY times, and the damn things keep coming back!
They also had the dept of health inspect it, to see what kind of bugs they were, it was really disgusting.
Finally, they are moving... this has cost them thousands of dollars in new furniture and moving expenses... I really hope that a stray bedbug doesn't manage to find its way to their new place.
DISGUSTING!!!

Oh thats so GROSS!!!!
Did anyone ever notice that when you stay at hotels, they never seem to bring new comforters (or at least i dont see them with new ones). whats the deal?? we cant all be using the same comforters, could we? YUCK!
I usually stay at hotels In AC like Harrahs or showboat. Just curious.

Gross! I have been itching all day and came home to change my sheets. I inspected my mattress a thousand times. My DH thinks I'm nuts!
