Beef Stew
How does this sound? I combined 3 recipes I found last night into my own and as we speak it is warming in the crock pot:
1.5 - 2lbs of beef, cubed 1 can of tuttorusso tomato sauce 1 can of beef broth 1 can of water (From broth can) 1 onion, diced 1-2 cloves garlic, diced 1 package of frozen 'stew' veggies or substitute for your own fresh veggies 1/2 cup of red wine 2 tbs of flour salt and pepper couple of dashes of garlic powder.
simmer on low for 10-12 hours
I have to admit i'm a little nervous to taste it later.
What do you think?

Re: Beef Stew
it was great. we decided next time to put another pacakage of veggies to soak up the sauce.
either that or put a half can of tomato sauce.
but the flavor was fabulous!
Thank goodness!

Re: Beef Stew
late but I add potatoes..that soaks up the sauce. Little round ones from the can or cut up with skin on.
