Been a While - Sorry, long post

I have not been on this board in a while. I had to step away for many reasons. My last miscarriage (March 2010) left some complications which is a whole other story. Anyway, we finally got the clear to began TTC again this past August/September (didn't really try in October and November due to other reasons). I was placed on Clomid since the RE thinks my complications may have been from poor ovulation.

Well, I got AF this past weekend and can't seem to get over it. I REALLY thought this was our month. I had a crazy sense of smell and other "signs" I must have read too much into. I use the CBEFM and we BD a few times during my high before my peak, both days of my peak and the last day of the high after that. Yesterday was my birthday and the day I was going to test (14dpo) but AF came on Saturday. I think I psyched myself up so high that I would get a BFP for my birthday that I can't get over having AF now. I have gotten pregnant 3 times (1 successful) the first time trying. It is so odd to me that now I can't seem to get pregnant even though I am on Clomid.

My DH is going for a SA this month and then I will meet with RE again at the end of the month to talk about next steps. This will be month 6 on Clomid so he wants to try something else after this round.

I guess I just needed to let it out a little. I am so bummed about the BFN this month. I turned 37 yesterday so I feel age creeping up on me now. I never thought I would be here. I can't seem to concentrate on anything else.

so sorry you and your hubby are going
through this, the disappointment is heartbreaking. Hope you get some answers and help to fulfill your dreams. Hang in there.
