Beer back in the bleachers

Just an FYI...beer was always available at the bar in the new bleachers, but they had to be consumed in the bar. As of this week....they've changed the ruling allowing people to bring it back to their seats. I'm not a big fan of $8 beers anyway, but now I'm a bit more hesitant to bring my kid out there. I kind of liked that you couldn't bring it to the seats. I guess I'm the party pooper

IMO, I think they're trying to compensate for the fact that NO ONE is buying those $300+ seats, looking to bring in more revenue wherever possible.

Woohoo beer!

We hardly ever spend the money to have more than just a couple. Well, then again, DH will keep it going. Because we go to so many games, we usually make sure we eat before the game. And since we were in the bleachers, it worked out good for us that there wasn't beer served. Amazing the money you save! When we sat in other sections, however, we'd treat ourselves.

It's gonna be a completely different world out there. In no ways as rowdy as the old, before the beer ban days...but it will be different.

ITA about it being different....but what's pretty cool is that our group pretty much stayed together. There are a few key people (IMO) that will be missing but the majority of us are all together which is nice. We always did our eating/drinking before the game and brought stuff in. You could go completely broke in that place otherwise. I could never justify paying more for food than my tix to get in

You're SO lucky to still be with pretty much your original group. We're not near our buds at all. Just won't be the same. They're a section over so we'll just have to tailgate when we can.
