Beginner Crochet'er
I learned out to Crochet a few years ago from my grandma but never really go into it.
I am now working on a baby blanket for the new bundle of joy.
But was just wondering what is another "easy" item to make? Hats? I know how to double crochet if that helps any.

Re: Beginner Crochet'er
i don't know how well it will show up in the picture... but a baby sweater can be made of rectangles with a slight variation only for the sleeves.
a hat can also be made from a rectangle... it would be the type that "gathers" at the top
booties aren't too tough either
fm me if you want me to look for specific patterns in my stash
eta: picture was too big. sorry. i'll get the patterns and fm you info

Lion's Brand Yarn has a ton of free patterns on their website - I think you have to register to get access to them.
I made a bunch of the crocheted stuffed animals for Easter - they were super easy! I also found a shell patterned baby blanket there that was also really east.
have fun!
