Beginner yoga?
I am 5 weeks post part I'm and I don't fit into any of my clothes and I'm really upset about it. I was thinking yoga might be a good way for me to lose weight and tone up, while also helping me to relax. (I'm super stressed all the time.)
Anyone know of good classes that are for super beginners? Not too expensive and preferably near Farmingdale

Re: Beginner yoga?
If you are willing to travel to Bayshore, Bearfoot yoga a several beginner classes. The owner is also a very good teacher. (Tuesday and Thursdays are the days she has beginner classes.)
Class Schedule
She also offers babysitting during the 10am class. The Monday class is followed by a Mommy & Me playtime.

Re: Beginner yoga?
I love Hot Yoga Massapequa. The heat is intimidating at first but I grew to love it. It's mostly beginners and not stereotypical yoga people either. If you have an unlimited plan and go at least 3-4x a week, it's affordable IMO. I am taking some time off because I just can't make the time commitment right now. I always encourage people to at least try their beginners special to see if it's for them or not ($20 for 10 consecutive days of classes).
