Behrs - Seaford??
Hi,
Is there only one Behrs on the island and is that at seaford?
Thanks...I have never been but am planning a trip this weekend.
Also do you have to wait weeks for most of their cribs to be delivered?

They take weeks to deliver unless you are willing to take a floor model.

I believe the only Behrs store is in Seaford/Massapequa. The do have beautiful stuff, but it can take a few weeks to a few months to get a crib in.

Thanks ladies...thats a bummer as I need to get one in the next 6 weeks....I am so last minute with everything....DD will end up in bed with us because her mom didnt order her crib on time.....

Can you borrow a bassinet? We used a bassinet for the first 3 months - aaannnnnddd he wound up in our bed anyway.

I have a cradle...this is for the big crib...she will be 5mths on july 1st.....I only had the entire pregnancy and the last 4 1/ months to buy one.....
I had posted about this before as I saw one on the land of nod website that I liked and it has free shipping but I was concerned about the quality so thought I should go and check them out a store...but between one thing and another its slipped my mind...I just realised the past few night how quickly she is growing and will really need a crib soon......
I can just see her now when she is a teenager with her legs hanging over the sides of her cradle asking "why mom"?

LOL, I just ordered a crib online from JcPenney, and the quality is great. It is sturdy, and I love the color it is really beautiful. Maybe look there, they have a decent selection.
