Beige
I need a beige for our new house.
For our last house, I probably bought 10 samples, put them all over the walls in different lights and different locations. We finally chose and I thought I was happy. Once the house was painted, I HATED it! I am scared that will happen again. So that being said...tell me your beige please!

Re: Beige
I have Valley Forge Tan by Benjamin Moore in the bedroom. It’s more of a greyish beige.

Re: Beige
BM Shaker Beige. I have it all over my house and still love it 3 years later.

Re: Beige
I have both BM Shaker Beige and Lenox tan in my house. I like both but my new favorite is BM Edgecomb Gray. My condo is painted in this color and I love it. It is described as a griege that can lean towards gray or beige depending on time of day. However, I don't see any gray in my walls regardless of amount of light.

Both great Beige Suggestions. If you want a little darker beige Benjamin Moore laurel canyon beige (#242) is a great one as well as huntington beige (HC-21)

Re: Beige
Thanks all! We currently have 7 beiges on our wall. After looking at them last night, we've narrowed them down to 2, but I need to see them in daylight now.

I think I have BM Barely Beige in my entryway/foyer and upper hallway. It's a true beige... not too gray or pink or yellow.
More yellow/off white, but I do like BM Mannequin Cream and Philadelphia cream. A friend of mine has these colors in her house (a traditional colonial in Westchester) and they look great!
Also, my friend Erin Andrews of Indigo House Interiors has very affordable services/packages for things like choosing paint colors/furniture placement... minor decor choices. She is local to us. This is her website - www.indigohouseinteriors.com. If you contact her, tell her you are my client!

Another vote for Valley Forge Tan. It reminds me of beach sand.
