Being hot all the time after having a baby...

Is it normal? I feel like i cant do anything without breaking out into a sweat these days. I was never like this before having DD. Im almost 8 months PP, how long does this last?

i would talk to your doctor.... i had that for the 1st month PP, but not after that. it could be a hormone imbalance....

i got freaked when i was having the sweats after DD.... i called the doctor and he said it should subside w/i the next couple of weeks, and if not to call him, and he would give me something to help me stabilize.

get a blood test to check your thyroid levels. i was hot all the time, and exhausted, also 8-9 months PP. turns out i have an overactive thyroid. i'm now on medication to lower it and it helps. but there is a condition called post partum thyroiditis where the throid goes into overdrive.. can cause you to be very hot because your metabolism is running to fast.

I was hot for almost a year. There was nothing wrong with my thyroid when they tested it.

ALL the time still and all my mommy friends say they have the same thing. My son is 21 months and so far I still get it. I never wear a coat Im always hot!
